Stopping data-hungry apps from killing your data plan isn’t the only way for iPhone owners to reduce their data usage. There are five phone-wide settings that can help keep you under your monthly data allotment.
Disable cellular app updates.
If your apps update automatically, make sure they do so only when you are on WiFi. Go to Settings > iTunes & App Stores and turn off Use Cellular Data.
Turn off Background App refresh
You have turn off Background app refresh on mobile data when you are not connected to WiFi Network Go to Setting ==> Background app refresh ==> turn off background app refresh
you can restrict the application which you are not using for example when you are on data plan you don’t need Music Streaming so you can turn of this option this is just an example like this you can turn off your other application which you really don’t need
like this you can save your data plan to use them you really need to have access to internet as you know data plans are limited so you have about 1GB or more if you use all the application you will be disconnected to internet soon
